Q:

cocking lever in front or rear.

Not sure what all the hoop lau IS ABOUT THE FRONT COCKING LEVER, I been shooting guns for the last five or six years with the rear cocking lever. Crickets and Mutants , Veterans , Just bought a 177 Vulcan , Now I love the gun its a lazier in shooting.
But if I could I would have ordered a rear cocking lever like my Crickets , Its just a habit to reach over with the left hand and cock the gun,

Birdman
You come across any Veterans you don’t want please let me know,
Its just a habit for me to reach across and cock the gun that has a rear lever,
Old habits are hard to break,
I am just one that likes the rear cocking lever,
Maybe the front lever will grow on me.

I hate having a rear cocking handle so much that not only will I never buy any gun with that set-up , I don’t care how good of a gun it is
I would never accept one even if you offered me one for free . I don’t care if it is an FX , Mutant , ED Gun , Cricket , or what ever , that
rear cocking system for me totally sucks and I will never have a gun that you have to cock from the rear period .

Who needs a follow up shot? I’m cocking for the next bird that lands.

I guess I love the rear right because I never need a follow-up shot. 😛

95% of the time my gun is in a rest (gorilla bag rest) and the rear is sometimes more accessible. :winkn:

Not me Mike, I hate a rear cocking lever, it’s sooo awkward to keep taking my Cricket off my shoulder to cock the rifle after each shot. I’ve grown up with the bolt on the right side of a rifle where cocking is made easy.
Love my front cocking lever on my Vulcan, and it’s on the right hand side, maybe that’s why the Cricket doesn’t get shot that much.
