codor ss barrel vs condor barrel for 22

I just bought my first AirForce rifle.

It is a condor ss in 25. It is a really nice rifle, and I am having alot of fun.

So far, I have added a talon tunes tophat, and 6″ shroud. I just installed the shroud over the weekend, I did order a hammer with the hammer slap mod to quiet it down a little more.

I really like the 25 for hunting, but would like to add 22 setup for paper punching.

I talked with AirForce rifle and asked what was the difference between a codor ss barrel and a condor barrel. They said the 12mm barrel is required for full effect of the air force shroud. The standard AirForce Barrel is 16mm.

Couple of questions:
1) does the extra 2mm stiffen the barrel and improve accuracy?
2) The talon tune site mentioned the 6″ shroud works on 18″ or 24″ barrel. Has anyone used the 6″ shroud on a condor ss with 24″ or 18″ standard (non-ss) air force barrel? Is it as quiet as the 12mm barrel on codor ss.
3) Does anyone notice accuracy difference or noise difference with 24″ 22 barrel. I will use it mostly as a lower power paper puncher. The 25 barrel is for hunting.

So here is where I am. I really like the 25 for hunting. I would like to add a 22 for paper punching (low energy).

I am looking for a very quiet, very accurate 22 setup for paper punching. I am looking for pretty low FPE out to 50 yards.

Options seem to be:

Easiest:
1) drop in 18″ 22 AirForce 12mm ss barrel. This is the standard direct factory replament for ss land

Option 2:
1) drop in 18″ 22 AirForce 16mm non-ss barrel

– will this improve accuracy over the 12mm barrel? (more stiff)

Option 3:
1) drop in 24″ 22 AirForce 16mm non-ss barrel

– will length improve accuracy
– will length lower noise (less air to hit same velocity)
– will length improve shot count (less air)

Option 4:
??? other suggestions
