Q:

Cold Blue for Condor

I realize that this is a repeat question, but I can’t locate the original info.
What should I use to cover scratches and bright spots on my Condor?
I was thinking Birchwood Casey Cold Blue. Is there a better chose?

All help greatly appreciated
Thanks
Bob

Birch wood casey makes a touch up for Alu. Most gun shops carry it. It is in a pen made like a sharpe. About 2 bucks! 😉

you can always tape the gun up and use 4-5 light coats of rustoleum engine block paint or caliper paint
it is pretty stong and should do well

aluma hyde looks interesting. Maybe a camo job instead of touchup.

Thanks Adam

I like that idea 😎

The aluma hyde from Brownells works great. But since they are gonna charge you $10 for shipping that gonna make it a $22 can of paint.

You will have to spray your entire gun, so keep that in mind.

Thanks for the info

I have a sharpie, and I will order a bottle of Brownells. See which one works best,

Thanks again

used the aluma black on my AR when my boy scrtched it that stuff works good.

Short of re anodizing your frame, use a big fat sharpie permanent marker and redo as needed.

Um the only thing that will blue is the barrel. All of the other parts are aluminum and will not be blued.
