Q:

Colibri HB shroud oring mod

New mod on HB, to prevent POI shifting and prevent the shroud from backing out. Due to over tightening the shroud or trying to aligned the vent hole 3-6 or 12-6 o’clock . Shroud can be 1 or 2 turns from bottoming out for proper alignment .

The barrel is only 10mm OD in the shroud and its threaded on the bushing in the middle of shroud so over tightening will force barrel out of alignment.

I made The oring to fit vary tight under the shroud so you can leave it off the shoulder.

going to include this Orng mod with a full tune.

if you have this issue send the bushing to be Ill install the oring here a video how to remove the bushing:

It’s my understanding that the Colibri has one of the most effective shroud out there? Is the secret the internals with the combination of the vented holes? Or since it’s designed to reuse muzzle air to cycle?

Its the combo of the small OD of barrel that provide a larger space for air expansion, its a 10mm barrel OD in the shroud area, the rest is 14mm, the baffles are vented and the best machine quality.

on my black HB I put a 4″ long and 1/4″ thick felt at the rear vent and its noticeably quieter then the silver HB at the same 32fpe
