Q:

Colibri owners

I am considering buying a Colibri as the next one comes up for sale. Just wondering if anyone has experienced poi shift like some of the crickets have due to AT pressure changes. From the looks of the AT on the Colibri they don’t have the same problem but I’m just assuming.

Speculation is nothing more than speculation , like hearsay is just hearsay . Lets wait for Keyser to go to the show and give us a true report on
what the 2016 show says about the Colbri if anything . No sense in getting excited about possibilities that are merely speculated .

I’m already dreaming that dream, Keyser 😉 I’m just not sure how many shots this current form factor would produce in .25 plus it would be noticeably louder than the current .22 caliber. But if/when that .25 Colbiri comes out, I’ll be getting one!

Wish we knew FOR SURE if they are coming out with a Colibri 2… Guy on another forum says he triedto order like several hundred and was told no …..Huh ?… Next guy says its a done deal …itll be at the shot show . Keyser gonna give us the straight scoop when he goes . Till then I’m treating everything else as BS 🙂

this looks to be a recently posted (December) video out of the UK…He says the gun was made in July. This is the “low serial number” version. He also says the spring/LDC internals have been removed on these. Other than that & the serial # change, it looks identical to the first ones..Wonder what else was done?…

Just saying for myself , what would really blow it out of the park and maybe make it one of the best PCP Guns to buy for 2016
would be to make it a semi-auto .

They would be stupid to NOT relaunch another Hummingbird down the line. The first version isn’t without its issues but they all have mostly been fixed relatively easily so why waste all those R&D dollars, time, and effort to make the first one that got 95% there and not put in a little more work to release a MkII? I have a Hummingbird now and would buy a MkII if/when it becomes available.

No not joking,
If Kalibrgun built a gun that good with a few easy to fix problems, And took it off the market, And now everyone is saying how good the gun is, Would it not make since to bring it back to market?
Just makes since to me,
Mike

Really, or are you being factious?

A friend sent me an email from Kalibergun that he got regarding the Colibri and the possibility of its return in 2016. The manager of Kalibergun gave a very cryptic reply

” we currently do not have the colibri rifle in our catalog and it is not certain if it will be available in the future. Providing you with any other information would, at the moment, be irresponsible. Please do contact us after the IWA 2016.”

So it’s not a total no…

I hope there is a colibri 2.0 coming this spring 😆

I made a small indexing mark on my shroud where it meets the body of the gun so anytime i remove it i can put it right back where it was and avoid a poi change.

what he said……
and the humming bird, has no bands that are around the air tube,
too hold the scope rail on. so it does not suffer from poi shift due to AT pressure changes,
like other bullpups. 😯

The air tube and barrel are separated. The only thing that causes a POI shift is over tightening the shroud. Filling the gun or changes in air pressure has no effect on the colibri
