Q:

Compact 3-12 or 4-12 scope

Been looking at the Leapers 3-12×44

http://www.leapers.com/production/prod_detail.php?mitem=Optics&level1=Tube%20Diameter&level2=30mm&itemno=SCP3-M3124AOMD-A&status=

But haven’t pulled the trigger because it’s only 1.1 ounces lighter than the full size 4-16×40 Centerpoint I have on my 850. Is there anything avaiable for a PCP/powder burner in the 3 or 4-12 compact arena.

I ended up kepping the B&L Elite 4-12×40.
Sorry, I don’t have any other information on these compacts.

I was checking out these compacts as well. The 3-12×44 and the bugbuster 3-9×32. Upon reading reviews, apparantly, the eye relief is incredibly short. Leaper’s web site has them listed at about 3.5″-3″ but the reviews say it is more like 2″. I am still waiting for my Talon SS to arrive (Tuesday) and will figure out the eye relief I need then. I might order both to see what works best with the intention on returning them unless something really works out. I’ll let you know how I make out.

Does anyone know if there are any other companies that produce compacts like this? I was thinking, if the eye relief is a big deal, I may have to go with a pistol scope. I did that on my Crossman 1377 and it is absolutely perfect.
Ideas?

MTC Viper x10 looks nice. That will be going on my second frame..

(link to the AirMax)

Most airgunners seem to focus on these:

Sidewinder
AirMax
Eclipse
Map Pro
Varmint

(posted in order of who often I see them talked about online)

I will check it out tonight. Been thinking about the Hawke, but haven’t gotten to their website yet. Too many product lines confuse me.

What about the Hawke Airmax line?

Great quality, can handle heavy recoil.
