Compact Arrow Conversion
Yellow Ninja made me a one piece barrel bushing that allowed me to shorten the rear portion of the arrow barrel without sacrificing any arrow length. It reduced the overall length of the gun more than 4”. It fits nicely in my 36” case now 😀
This is the barrel with the one piece bushing compared with a standard size arrow barrel with regular bushings. The one piece bushing replaces the PW. Y/N also cut some aluminum spacers for the bushing to preload the spring if necessary.
He also anodized the bushing and dyed it black, so when in the gun the PW window is blacked out. Functional and looks cool!

For now Im going to stick with making the standard length arrow barrel. Since there are only two set screws holding the barrel inside the gun frame Im a little concerned about the frame threads. If after a few hundred shots there is no sign of stress on the threads then I’ll start offering the conversion with the onepiece bushing.
Y/N has already been more than kind helping me on this project. If the single bushing does well I’ll use it as a prototype for some one to do a CNC run for me.

Dang, that’s faster than any compound bow on the market. 😯

Speeds with the full conversion kit are well over 400fps. As for accuracy, fist size groups at 50 to 60yrds and, arrow busting groups any closer than that.
