Compact cricket inbound…
Just got my tracking info… Got a .22 compact from WWAG. Can’t wait. Been lingering around the bullpup forum long enough had to have one.
Who else has a compact and what are there thoughts/. Set ups? Scopes? Ordered me some JSB’s too

My God you have the same lust as I have had for the little pests the last 40 years. 😯 The Cricket is my current favorite pester/plinker. Whether the Hummingbird (semi-auto) will be able to compete is another question to be answered in 6 months or so. 😆 With the performance and feel of KalibrGun’s products I fear it may become a big hit and we may both need one of those too next fall. 😆 Maybe Donny as well. :4: The little bitty guns under 30″ or so are just a lot more fun IMO being so powerful and accurate these days.
BTW – you will be able to get the trigger mighty good on the Crickets.
I went over to my brothers with it and was shooting pest out of the trees. I shot one at 63 yards off hand
1 shot …. Dropped so many I I lost count. Took one out at 88 yards leaning against a tree. I had a spotter with a range finder calling the shots
Man this thing is a blast….
These crickets are the real deal. The balooga is a bench gun. After shooting both. I don’t even think it’s fair to mention them in the same sentence.
Not to discredit the BC. But it ain’t no BP
It may shoot good and have a better trigger but. I think I found the one…. At least for now
I still can’t get over the accuracy of this thing!!!!! And the power. It’s only shooting 850. But at 80 yards. That bird sounded like it got walloped with a paddle. Lol
Holy shit…. I was blinded by the light…. This little cricket is dam nasty!!!!!

So Jamie, you used to be a die hard BC advocate. Now that you’ve gotten and shot your Cricket, what’s your opinion/first impressions?
I got a 65 yard shot on a pesty squirrel early this morning. He was chewing on my deck and he ran out in the woods and climbed a tree. 😛
Sunflower seeds were $19 for 50# and corn was $6 for #50. I found out the starlings really love the suet so I have three cages of it at all times. It’s $1 a slab so I buy 20 at a time. You can’t hurt those suet cages with pellets too much. Of course the 30 cal R3 is really hard on everything. 😯
Suet is like heroin for starlings I think. They get hooked on it. Once they know where it is they come back in droves. I prefer shooting sparrows because they are fast and half the size but I now blast a lot of starlings too. 😛
I didn’t know that :biggrinn: :biggrinn:
Im happy i went with steve…. I really could care less about AOA and there price. I feel got an equal deal. actually i feel i got a better deal when u consider the support.
and the comfort knowing your gonna get a gun that won’t have to go back to them the next day. + i got 2 extra mags. and guess what. i opened the box and there they were :winkn:
I got this squirrel taunting me but i can’t shoot him right now cause he’s too close to the neighbors house… he must see his dead buddies on the ground :biggrinn:
I am headed to the feed mill now… 😉 You know those crown savers Steve gave us are selling for $35 now. 😯 I have three of them.
There is only about 2 1/2″ between the Leyla and the CC.
Fed ex ROCKS…..
I can’t get over how small it is…. I need to run to the Depot and get a couple bags of feed….
my gun got here before the care package… LOL

Beautiful. Congratulations. I have been nailing birds all morning with the .22 Cricket. I went through 100 #s of sunflower seeds so far this winter. 🙂 also, 300 #s of corn.
I thought they had cheek pieces for the synthetics now?
TOO late shortly after i wrote that last msg the FEDEX guy showed up and dropped it off. I got lazy and selfish. scoped it up filled it up sight it in at 33 yards.
and now there are 4 dead birds in my back yard. first one i dropped at 56 yards. bracing the gun off the back door. I didn’t even range it till after i shot. just held it about 1/2 ” high and it dropped like a rock.
Yes videos are always entertaining. 😀
I will make u a video of me unboxing mine when fedex gets here today
If it makes you feel any better…. secoda

It s straight shipment to me (I enjoy working on the Crickets). It should not take more than a day or two from Atlanta once it ships. I guess he is only getting about 10-15 done per day actually shooting them. Now I see why AOA fakes the testing. 😆 I don’t mind waiting but just didn’t have an indication that it would take anywhere near that long. It’s not like I don’t have other good guns to play with. 😛
I didn’t recieve my t shirt yet but It may be there today.
Hey look on the bright side… They are really testing the guns that leave WWAG and not just passing a box. So u shouldn’t have to send it back once u get it.
Secoda your gun should get there pretty quick. …. Comming out of Georgia … Mine is scheduled for delivery tomarrow. Did you get a tune or anything special with it?

I did initially mount my leupold VX-1 2-7 that i had on my muzzle loader. I just put it on the scale and it weighs right at 17 ozs. (with rings)
Id did feel quite nice on the cricket. fit it really well. but i need a more MAGnafication.
Where as the 6.5-20 hawke tactical is about double that.
Im gonna start looking for a lighter scope. The sightrons really got my eye. The thing about the hawke is the reticle is wide open and hashes and fonts go all the way left to right and top to bottom where as others seem to give you 3 or 4 dots then just a thick line. (thats the way my bushy 4200 was and thats y i sold it)
