airkrazy, get in contact with John at hagantool@aol.com to get a 1/2×20 adapter and thread cover if you want to install it yourself. In my case I didn’t want the headache of taking out the factory end cap so I send John the shroud and he made and installed the adapter. This way he can made certain everything line up perfectly. He did a great job and I would highly recommend going this route.

Is your compact a .177 or .22? How was the sound levels before and after? A little noticeable, noticeable or very noticeable differences?

My is a .22 with a depinger installed. The noise levels in my case is very noticeable. I have ADT security and the break sensor warning would go off each time if I’m shooting without the ldc ( shooting indoor out to the yard cause its raining here). The ADT system does not detect any sound with the Fat boy. Now i can shoot all day without the wife yelling because ADT keep saying “Dining room door”

How does it attach? Can you post a pic? I will be looking to get one of these.

That’s what I called been creative!!!! Great Idea!!!!
And Donny, Im gonna need one those cans soon!!! Great job!!!

with the o-rings installed they are a snug fit and will not fall off.

Wow, that’s so simple! People truly are creative..

Have they ever fallen out or do they stay put?

DIY magazine holders.

Plastic snap from Ace Hardware. I don’t remember the size. Buy a few they only cost like .20cent a piece.

I stole the kid hula hoop and cut out a piece lol

cut out a piece of foam and wrapped with carbon fiber tape. I also put a small o-ring to the plastic snap to prevent mags from falling off.

wrapped the barrel with Mcnett camo. This prevented the hula hoop from moving and protect the barrel from any scratches.

total cost was less then $2. But when the wife and kids found out about their hula hoop i got an earfull. but it was all worth it.

That’s a beautiful setup yellowyak. As a maker, it’s always reassuring to know that the product works and is appreciated. To me that’s the biggest compliment 🙂 Thank you.
