Q:

Condor .20 cal anyone?

Hi,

New member and first post. I may have an opportunity to get a Condor in .20 cal for a good price. I’ve googled but haven’t found anything specific about this particular caliber with the Condor. Does anyone have any first hand experience with it? Best pellet(s)? Maximum effective range? Accuracy? I’m looking for my first PCP for non-competitive target shooting to 50 yards (and hopefully 100 yards as well). Thanks for your help.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I’m thinking. I’ve never shot a .20 cal but from what I’ve read it’s ballistics are a happy medium between the .22 and .177. Not many pellet choices, but from what I’ve read about the AF Condor, the rifle can pretty much be tweaked to work with almost any pellet?

Hi Stretch, welcome to the forum.
I think a Condor in any caliber will make you a happy camper. Not too many people shooting in .20 though. It may be hard for you to gather much useful information. The magic of the Air Force rifles is that your .20 could become a .22 with just a few turns of an Allen wrench and a different barrel.
