Q:

Condor Accessories

I’ve been getting familiar with my TalonTuned Condor. Tony did the following: full tune, hammer, 24″ .25 and .22 barrels, LDC, FX bottle cover, I really like what he did and with the LDC it’s pretty damn quiet. It is long, really long, with the LDC but it still handles well when shouldered, just a bit awkward otherwise. The only things I’ve added so far are a trirail with Mueller Eraticator scope.

My question is, what goodies should I look at to add to this rifle. Some thoughts:

12″ .22 barrel to use with an SS end cap (takes length down to about 30 inches vs 51 with the LDC) for backyard shooting?
Micro-meter tank, again for the backyard?
Other????

Thanks,
Steve

Some good suggestions here. I like the idea of upgrading the pistol grip. I was not aware of the WOKBUTT. I might have considered that but I have the FX tank cover which I’d assume is a much more expensive option ($150 when I got it) but it is pretty classy.

I’ve used scope levels in the past but never on an airgun.

A bipod? at the full length of this beast? Seems more like I’d better look into some kind of derrick. HaHa. I do have a varied collection of shooting sticks.

I did just order a 12 inch .22 barrel so it’ll be really interesting to see how that works with just the capped frame. I used to have a TalonSS but my guess is that this will be LOTS louder unless something effective is stuffed into the frame.

Anyone using the micro tank on a Condor with 12″ barrel?

When it comes to the 12″ barrel, this for me is the
best and simplest baffle system….It works well and
is cheap….I used 1″ x 3/8″ fender washers and got
1 1/4″ x 3/8″ rubber washers because they didn’t
have 1″. I had to trim the rubber
washers with scissors down to 1″ but, no big deal.
I didn’t use the 3/4″ PVC.
It didn’t fit into the frame.
I just left the first piece of 1/2″ X 3/4″ long PVC solid and it slides
right over the barrel to make a spacer. I also made 4
chambers instead of 3.
This is Triggermans setup.

You need a green laser on that bad boy.

A bipod as well, if you don’t have one already.

Also consider a scope level, AKA an “anti-cant device”. It really helps provide consistent accuracy.

bipod
Custom pistol grip and possibly fore grip…
I moved my foregrip back towards the trigger
and like it much better there..Easier to change
out barrels and better position for me.
WOKBUTT for butt plate. For starters until you
get your second one..
