AFC,

One of the problems that I had had like you is when using a heavier spring I have trouble getting it to cock.

Unless your trigger sear is set up this way already:

If you look at the three springs that work your trigger and sear, check the spring on the sear, that peice comes up to grap the hammer, it is the spring closer to your muzzle. There is a little round hole for the spring, but a 1/2 inch towards the muzzle is a elongated slot that the sear works in, put your spring in the slot, against the slot wall towards the butt. THat will give you extra power to engage the sear.

Another cause can be if you have disengaged the safety and left the safety block in, if you have and the blick is still in, remove it by driving out the two pins closest to the muzzle to remove it.

I hope all this works for you, and remember you void your warrantee by screwing with mods and removing safethies and such, which of course most of us have, it means the repairs if ever needed come from your own pocket, but then most of just work on our own guns anyway.

Regards,

Roachcreek
