So all this prechamber business has already been sorted out?
Aka, I won’t be losing FPE?
Also, do you guys know where to find those slender and long airtanks that some of the nicer airguns use? The 62ci JDS airman I have is just too chunky to mount forward and the slimmer JDS tanks dont go up to 3000psi…
If you have a Etac or one of Tony’s angled adapters, you simply unscrew the nipple, screw in a elbow that attaches to a line running to a tank under the barrel that has a fill nipple on it.
Then have a plug manufactured to fill the hole where the AF tank screws into the ETAC.
The valve would remain where it is at and the ETAC would act as a prechambeer for pressure.
Now if you had a 4500 PSI tank and a 4500/3000 PSI regulator hanging under that barrel, you would get a bunch more shots.
A Timney trigger could probably be altered to do away with the crazy AF trigger system and moved right under where the sear is now and a linkage buit for it.
A WOK guard could be altered to set further forward and the linkage to the Timney trigger manufacutred.
So you need an ETAC, an elbow, a tank hanger, to hold the tank to the forearm and a plug for the end of the ETAC.
You have to figure out a shield to protect your face from the breech in case of a ruptured breech.
I have some diagrams in Photofucket but it is down right now.
Does anyone make a bullpup kit for these bad boys?
Has one ever been seen?
With the air tank being aft of the bolt I doubt it would be possible to make a bulpup kit. It would probably be so much work you’d be better off buying a evanix max, or edgun instead of cobbling someting together on a condor.
