condor co2 problem
My condor with co2 and adapter came the other day and after watching the factory video i set it up. I work midnight and after work went shooting [about 50 degrees]. I sighted in at 30 yards. Best 5 shot group would fit inside half the size of a dime. This gun can shoot! After about 25 shots i could hear co2 leaking about every 3rd shot. After one shot co2 came out the end of the barrel like a fire extinguisher for about 4 seconds. I made sure the pellets were seated and the bottle and adapter were snug. The o-ring on the bottle looks ok. Anybody got any ideas? Also i have been looking at mods to make this gun shoot faster. I plan on shooting co2 for awhile before going to hpa. Would the vented bushing and valve job on the bottle help with co2. Most mods are about hpa. How many fps would you gain on co2. I really like this airgun. My 1st in 30 yrs. Im glad i found this forum, lots of great info. Thanks for any help, mike

Yeah, these guns are freakin’ wild, aren’t they? 😆
I haven’t seen any performance mods at all related to CO2, except for using battery powered socks to insulate the bottle in cold weather.
The vented bushing is for noise management, in tandem with a shroud… and I’ve got no idea what a valve mod for CO2 would do, or if it’s even been tried.
When I was on CO2, I just jacked the PW up to about 10 and some change and let the lead fly. Worked fine. 😉
