Condor Hammer weighs 50g with plastic boots
Edit: The hammer plus weight are 70g’s. Does this seem right?

Hi guys !
I`m sending my condor to a guy make a tune on it but I`m undecided about replace the hammer to a 95 gram or keep the original .
The question is: What is the real reason to change the hammer in this case ?
what are the real benefits if it has to change ?

You can also use a drill bit inserted inside the stem during tightenning so as not to dent the stem.

Is this the case with both condor and talon tanks?
u need a set of feeler guages and a .05″ allen wrench there are 2 set screws on the top hat loosen and adjust dont overtighten screws to dent valve stem use blue locktite on screws after playing
How do you “manipulate” the top hat? I have read other threads where people talk about that but I don’t know what to do with it. Is there a way to adjust it for more or less air flow? I have condor tanks where the opening is very large.
We are using air, either more air or less air, by the munipulation of the top hat to the openning of the airsource, the higher the tank pressure and the lighter the hit on the top hat the more erratic the air supply may become do to barely openning of the valve, it is going to take so much force just to overcome the intial opposition, then it opens the valve, sometimes spring tension may work to overcome the slower shots or you may go with a sightly heavier hammer for a better desired result.
My Condor hammer totals 68.1 grams
Hammer = 48.7 gram
Hammer added weight = 19.4 gram
I’m experimenting with just using the Hammer with the weight placed on the opposite side of the Hammer Spring. I have found that the lighter hammer seems to cause more erratic shot POI & FPS while on the uphill side of the curve while being sensitive to Power Wheel adjustment. That may indicate the need for a heavier hammer for heavy pellets.
nope they aint all that heavy get a good brass one my new hammer weighs in at 110grm i wouldnt trade it for the world
Using a better scale, my hammer is 48.23g (with plastic caps) and 67.43g w/ weight.
I thought they were 90 or 95.
mine weighed out at 67grm

Hello Jackson, increase the weight of the hammer will further increase the flow of air outlet of the valve and with that you get more power on the weapon, how you got on the phone if you like precision and only use heavy pellets like him because Eungins you’ll have much more precision and power and leaving the pellet exceed the sound barrier, which will lead to lack precision.
