Condor on C02
Hello Folks,
My name is Tom, and this is my first post.
I’m going to purchase a Condor .22 caliber for C02 shooting only.
I don’t really like the extreme pressures with HPA.
Most of my shooting will be indoors at paper targets, with maybe occasional outside plinking to 100 yards.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience shooting C02, and what mods are worthwhile to do.
There are so many mods and accessories for the airforce guns, that I don’t really know where to start.

Not sure what your indoor range would be, but you should be alright. As far as 100 yard plinking with a 22cal powered by CO2, it’s gonna be a bit of a stretch to say the least. I may be wrong, my experience using CO2 was with a Talon SS in 177cal. Got a lot of shots,(35-40 shots per ounce) but I had to use significant hold over to hit targets at 45 yards with an 18″ barrel. From my understanding, and I’m sure someone knows more, CO2 will give you the same velocity as long as the tempeture remains the same. Has something to do with the gas expanding. When it’s cold your speed is low and when it’s hot your speed will increase, assuming your using the same weight pellet. With compressed air, your gun will shoot like a beast. It’s only fair to warn you, that if you ever decide too use compressed air, you will sell your CO2 tanks real quick, and all the mods you have heard about will begin to come to your house via the Postman. Air rifles are like crack, only different. Just my 2 cents. Good luck with your new gun and welcome to the Forum.
