Condor settings for 16 grain JSB’s
Hey guys. I’ve got a whole bunch of JSB’s (16 and 18 grain) sitting around and a bunch of air. I want to keep these pellets in the 900’s. Will lowering my power wheel setting from the factory setting (around 6 to 7) to about 1 get me where I need to be? I have a chrony and use it often.
I have read here where some guys are putting an o-ring behind the top hat. Is this to limit the amount that the valve is opening??? Would this be a good option to lower power, instead of screwing in the top hat?
I bet these questions sound lame. LOL But thanks for tolerating them.

The only dumb or lame question is the one not asked.
I think some have limited the fill pressure to get what your after, but it may have only been with the Talon.
Or get a extra Talon valve and tank if you have a lot of lead to shoot, that is what I did.
Or trade them for something heavier.

I still want to see a shot sring on PW 0, or 0.3-4, the oring thing will slow the gun down somemore.
I believe Powderburner explained the o-ring cushions the otherwise metal on metal rebound of the valve. It would reduce the fps slightly which is what you said you want to do. If the fps reduction is not wanted or is to much then a little adjustment of the Top Hat will bring it up some. The end result is using less air volume per shot.

since you have a chrony I would get a baseline first.
