condor ss .177 cal
Anyone here tried the condor ss in .177 cal. I would want to know the velocity and accuracy of 16.1 gr eunjin. where i live allows to import only .177 cal airgun.

I did not have a Condor SS but I have a Talon SS with high flow valve and had a 26 inch .177 barrel. I would not recommend the .177 for such a powerful gun. I was shooting Eunjins at 1140 fps, but that meant SS stood for supersonic and it would not shoot worth diddlely. I would strongly recommend .22 instead.

And as for your question,
I dont have a 177 condor , but i think the 177 condor should be able to send those 16 g. eunjin s to 1000 , 1150 fps, so figure your power will be . 35.7 foot pounds / 16.1 grain at 1000 fps, or maybe 46 foot pounds at 1100 fps,
Now the gun may shoot this pellet faster than that , but for accuracy , or best accuracy, you will probably have to stay below or at 1000 . you will have to try it to know for sure.
I have a 22 condor and have good luck with the eungin pellets in the high 900’s . with 1/2″ to 3/4″ 50 yard groups.
I can shoot the 32 grin to a max of 1150 or so over the chrony , but have only shot these out side on targets at 1050 or right under the sound barrier , because i was in town while dong so , and groups opened up to 1 1/2 ” at 50 yards.
not allot of info on 177 condor shooting, most go to the bigger caliber.

Pyramyd Air ships all over the world . A 177 condor SS with overseas shipping comes to about $900 – 22 barrel with overseas shipping comes to about $ 275 that’s $1175 in all.
If you don’t want to go through the night mare of customs the same set up is available in India for $ 1500 .
More over just changing the barrel from 177 to 22 is not enough – you will also need a Hi Flow valve meant for the 22/25 Condor . Then only will it function as a real 22 Condor SS.
I live in India. the custom chaps sucks here and i live far eastern side where I can’t just go and bring if it gets stuck. however there is a forum where enthusiastic airgunners bring out to sale at 1000 INR x the inches. help me out with the fbe or fps of .177 cal eun jin as i ll be using it for a while and buy the .22 barrel later when i have extra cash to spare.
Where do you live? No matter what the import law is you can buy a 22 or 25 barrel later…

I was able to slow them down with an o ring to around 800 fps and was getting 1-1/2 inch groups at 50 yards. Newboy Seniors would group about 2 inches. A high flow valve is just too much for .177.
I have since sold that barrel and am building it back up as a .25 carbine.
