Q:

Condor SS .25 for slugs

My Condor doesn’t see much light these days. So I thought maybe I should make it a slug gun with Nielsen 44gr slugs.

Well, I bought a bag of HP slugs from Nick but since I don’t know nothing from nothin’ they won’t fit in the leade. Nick revealed that I need to have the have the leade cut in.

So two questions:

1. Can anyone recommend a good air gun machinist ….Dayotat?

2. If I cut in the leade, will I not be able to go back to pellets?

Thanks for the help.

Yes you can still use pellets after you cut the leade in for bullets, they will just seat a little deeper.

There are quite a few good smiths on here. I live and work in Canada. so really don’t take any cross-border work just because of the duties and shipping fees! How I go about cutting in the lead is with a die grinder mounted in my metal lathe and turning the barrel at slow speed and using a small tapered stone.
