Q:

Condor SS. ACCURRACY

I have had this gun for quite awhile. I shoot it at 27yards. It is a .22 cal condor Ss. It has been tuned by Tony. It has his hammer in it tank drop one piece tt top hat. It shoots 888 to 900fps. It shoots great for about 6 shots the poi changes then goes back to shooting right on for about 5 shots. What can I do? I’ve cleaned the barrel made sure barrel & bushings were tight along with scope & mounts. Please help.

Maybe while you have the baffles out you might try shooting the same number of shots to see if you get the poi change without them? Could help confirm that’s the problem.

Thanks for the tips!! This gun was built by Tony, it was a gift to me from my father. I have a regular condor Ss with no bells or whistles, & it shoots great. I’m just trying to get this one to shoot without having these POI problems. I took the baffels out last night,& examined them. It appears that the very end one could have just a touch of clipping going on. I also tightened the bottle up seemed only hand tight. My question now is what to do with the baffels? How can I fix the clipping problem. Thanks

I get great accuracy and power with my guns and they are modded hardly at all. The only thing I do is put a O ring under the Top Hat and reset the Top Hat to give me about the same clearance as before the O ring. You don’t need special this or special that … the one item I do like very much from TT is the WokGuard15 MKII … a very useful item for the use of a AR grip and stabilizing frame movement. The long scope rail from AirForce is also a good item for stability of the guns frame.

I set my PW to around 5 as a start. I also tighten the frontmost under frame screw first and then the back and then the front side and back side. I hand tighten using the small side of the Allen key as my grip … all four screws are blue lock tighted in nice and firm (do not over tighten).

All my guns shoot above 950 with the heaviest for caliber pellets that are available and all have a nice bell curve for about 15 shots ….. the most I would ever need for hunting !

If you want more info please PM me and I’ll tell you more. POI change can be a couple of things.

it can be a lot of things providing the sequence you told us

check with other accurate pellet
check every part is tight especially barrel bushing area
if possible, polish and very lightly lubricate any mechanical area that moves
