Q:

CONDOR SS

I just got a CONDOR SS. I like to target shoot in the back yard, but the condor ss is not “Hollywood quiet”. I’m using an 18.3 grain round on a setting of 2. I ordered some 21 grain pellets that should show up on Monday.

Does anyone have advise on what setting and how heavy of a round is required to quiet down the CONDOR SS for some back yard shooting?

Thanks. Through some testing I have found that a little lower pressure helps with sound and accuracy. I plan on trying the o-ring soon. I just received my Hawke Sidewinder scope to replace the Airforce I bought with the gun. Zero tomorrow and then some more fun..

Some guys put an oring behind the top hat to tame the condor for back yard shooting

You are most likely breaking the sound barrier and getting the “classic” sonic crack”.
You have to lower the velocity of the pellet.
Try a 2500 psi fill.
Good Luck,
