Q:

Condor SS Strange behavior…

So I am out shooting my new Condor SS.
JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.13 Grains, Domed, 500ct pellets.
Power level at 6.
Shot 50 pellets(on the third tank refill) and then the pellets dropped really low and the ‘ping’ sound went away. Thought I might be out of air and looked at the gauge and it was 2500 psi.Tried it again and it sounded like it had no power and I could see the pellet drop low of the trap. So I set the power level at 10 and the ‘ping’ came back and everything came back to ‘normal’ again.

Any thoughts?

I hadda similar issue, the top hat had become loose. I’m assuming because I was not pushing the breech forward and just threaded the tank on with the breech closed. I’m guessing that the ‘O’-ring inside the breech was catching the top hat and unthreading it as I was threading the tank on.

I put some RTV on the teeny-tiny grub screws and the top hat threads after adjusting to .82″ and always open the breech when threading the tank on. Problem has not returned.

That depends on how you want it tuned. I have seen .070 – .090 used and probably some outside of that. My condor was .085-.087 if memory serves me correct.

Yes and Yes.

What is the proper top hat ‘gap’ ?
