Well I have a Marauder .22 and a TalonP with 9″ TT shroud. It’s NOT even close, you cannot compare the quietness of the Marauder. Maybe the TalonP is just too violent with its direct flow valve. Perhaps a Condor SS with TT shroud could challenge Marauder quietness, but the Marauder is truly THE benchmark on quietness.

I have one of Tony’s shrouds on my TalonP, massive difference from stock. Just a “click” when on CO2 and a huge difference when using 3000 psi of air. Makes it pleasant to shoot, without the shroud, the “blast” is quite violent.

I think you just sold one of Tony’s shrouds ! Just posted the question of comparing the M rod to the TT shrouded Talon and found your post. BTW…….great looking knives.

Let me put it this way. The SS is fairly quiet, but reports put it at not as quiet as an M-Rod.
If you are around an M-Rod and a gun with a Talon Tunes Shroud shooting at the same time, It’s “Will you please stop shooting the Rod for a minute, I’m trying to hear what the TT sounds like. I can’t hear the damed thing!!!
It’s that Quiet! More than one person here has thought somthing went wrong with their gun the first time they put a TT shroun on their gun. It’s almost a whisper. 😉

The only way to compare is same fps and same pellet in both guns. The marauder doesn’t make the power a talonp does so it’s not a comparison.
I can turn my .25 down to 800 fps with JSB’s and it would be stupid quiet. Even at 935 fps it is still unbelievably quiet.
