Condor to FX Verminator
Sold my Talon valved Condor, it’s headed overseas. I’m a little sad, but excited at the same time. I didn’t expect it to sell as fast as it did, but now I’ve got the funds for my next rifle.
I’d been looking at the FX guns for a long time. The precision and smooth twist barrel really appeal to be. The Verminator was already on the short list when one popped up used at AOA. Ordered it this morning with an extra mag.
How many of you have Verminators and whats your experience been with them? Thanks TAG. 😎

I know it may seem out of place in this particular conversation, but I have a serious question.
Has anyone tried a smooth twist barrel in their AirForce air rifle? From what I can piece together, the newer ones perform quite well and I am curious as to how they compare with the LW barrels.
The reason I ask this is I have a TSS with a 26″ .177 HW barrel and would like a 24″ or longer .22 barrel.

Got a Gladiator (older model) that I sent off to have it made to a Verminator… love the little gun. Accurate and gets a ton of shots.
Ergonomics are odd…not bad…not great… just different.

Everything I’ve read has been positive about the ST barrels. It doesn’t seem to matter what you mount them on, the technology is solid and accuracy is on a par, if not better, than the LW gear.
But, let’s be realistic, all top of the line barrels on the market today will have an accuracy potential beyond what a human can achieve, short of mounting it on a clamp-down bench rest.
