Condor – Tri Rail – why is it needed for strengthening
I have read many topics here and constantly hear that the Tri-Rail “strengths” the frame. I can see that, by design, the bridge over top the breech is needed to “box” the structure for strength.
But isn’t the standard design enough ?
So what is happening that the frame is flexing – how much – when – why ?
If I bump up to a 95 gr hammer, will I be required to have the Tri-Rail ?

I would highly recommend the tri-rail if you upgrade the hammer. I do not use it on my .22 Condor since it’s pretty much stock. I just use high rings for the scope and Adam’s (Wok’s) adjustable Work-Butt/shoulder piece and have been shooting it like that for years. I do not believe it has any flex at stock power, but I also dial down the power to keep the Kodiaks below 1,040fps, and I do not fill to 2800psi but usually to 2300.
I do use the tri-rail on my 25’s that have heavier hammers though.
