Condor trigger safety.
I tried something low tech. A zip tie. Works well, can be easily removed. No disassembly required

How to do it!
You have to be an Ace with a dremmel and flimsy little cut-off wheel.
Use safety specs cause if you blow a wheel it will f**k U up!!
The main thing to look for is to keep the cuts as square as possible.
Remove small amounts at a time (not too small) and check. The t-group pins can be hand fitted and removed, until satisfied with the end result then they can be pressed home ( I need a pin pressing tool similar to a sight pressing tool)
Other wise I used the Drill press with a 3mm shaft and placed the rifle on a block of wood. No more risking it with a hammer and punch.
Too easy, press the pins opposite to the star shaped notched ends. Those 3 little cuts actually hold the pins in. I tried to align the cuts when replacing.
These pins also show wear, they can be rearranged for the less worn ones to give longer service. I also used triflow grease in the whole assembly of contacting, sliding & moving parts. Once you cut the sear and safety pieces, polish them with fine emery I used my favourite 1000 grit and just rubbed it until satisfied 😳
If you need more info PM me. I will not be able to get my trigger components out partly because I just got them back in. For the pictures however, when I do I will take some shots.
Basically cut a slight angle on the safety peice as pointed in red.
Not too much, trial and success is the goal.
Then cut some angle on the sear the way it works is when the safety is pushed forward the sear drops to hold it forward. You only need a small amount of material to be the face to hold the safety forward when disengaged. If you blow it the safety will just bounce back in safe mode ROFL. I just about messed my one up and needed to buy a new sear.
However my safety works flawlessly now.

BTW This picture is incorrect:
The safety rod does not push on the spring it actually goes on the other end and pushes directly on the safety baulk peice. The spring is from the old style Trigger Group its not really needed. If you place the spring as per the picture you will get a bouncy castle as a booby prize.
It can have max PW and still operate with just the trigger finger pushing forward with the back of your fingernail. Funny thing though, while I was modding I clicked, that if I kept dremmeling where I did it would not go off safe. Lol, about 1mm in it. Wonder if I will get those damn pic’s up somewhere.

Have you changed the Little Red Cap out for a bigger knob? Wok provided a larger black knob with his trigger gard. It really helps but mine kept coming loose so I knotched it at the bend setting it further up the shaft and then glued it. Even with the hard push at least it doesn’t come loose now.
I’m really anxious to see the pictures of your new Safety Mod, Techmod. But, be sure to point out how far not to go.

Well…I guess Skip had to go to bed to be ready for a scrool day tomorrow. I’d be happy to change places with him if they got girls there.
I guess that zip tie would be a kinda “Anti-Safety Device”. That sure would be better than having to remove parts and springs and stuff and lowering the value of the rifle.
But, personally I like the safety feature. I kinda embedded Wok’s big safety knob so it barely has any side ways or up-down movement. It’s still a bit to stiff but it doesn’t feel sloppy loose. I’d bet the designer didn’t specify a cheep steel rod bent on each end. If a squared rod were used I bet it could be made to function like a precision machined mechanism rather than a flimsy toy push rod.
At first I thought ‘here we go again’ but then I realized it couldn’t hurt to have a 4th zip tie on my condor. So what the heck! How are you using a zip tie with the safety skip???
I would imagine it keeps the safety from re setting.

You gotta be a brain surgeon to be able to do that with a dremel tool.
I wouldn’t attempt it with anything less than a “Reed” grinding machine.
If you get some dimensions, angles, etc. I might try to get a machine shop to do up a test set. Or, if that is proprietary information, let us know when you can get some peices made.
