Condor valve broblem.?
Hi Every one.
I have a big problem with my condor.
Well the gun is 1 month old, has been used for 9-10 times, it has been filled about 30 times and has fired approx. 300pellets.
So today i went again for target shooting. The gun was filled at 2300psi and i started shooting . Then after 8 shots a loud sound of air came from the gun and the tank was empty.
I filled it again and with the PW set to 8 , after firing 5 shots all the air came out again.
I then filled it again at and set the PW to 13 and after 7 shots the air came out again.!! However many times I repeated the process the result was the same; few shots go off and the tank empties..
Why is this happening. The gun had no problem and Ive been taking good care of it.
I leave in Greece and their is no authorized service (or dealer for that matter). And i cannot send the gun to the U.S for obvious reason.
Can anyone help.?

As soon as It happens try to pull the breech forward. I’ve done this succesfully to save the rest of the air In my tank.
As to fixing It…. Sounds like your problem Is preload or the valve. I’d say take the valve apart and turn the spring retainer In a 1/4 turn and try again. It may well dump the tank…….. If so then repeat the process (turn the valve spring reatiner In another 1/4 turn). Eventually you’ll find the right resistance to keep the valve closed after firing but you’ll also be keeping the best power available by having the minimum pressure needed to close the valve up again.
Other problem could be the preload as maw says. You may aswell crank the PW right up If your shooting at that power and then set the valve up so It won’t dump when you come to shoot on a high PW setting but It’s completely up to you.
I’d pull the stem on tank and clean the stem and inside where the stem goes then put some silicone on the stem and put it back in, plus stay away from the full powerwheel positions.
I was able to find a couple threads on Tank Dump. Use the search function and put Tank AND Dump (3 words, the AND will use both words for the search). Search the Condor Forum only and then you might also try the Talon to see if there are any more threads. (I didn’t check this)

Make sure you are seating the pellets nice and tight and the should be flush with the barrel.
Sometimes the pellet with come out of the breech and cause a tank dump.
