Condor valve questions
OK guys some of you will remember me writing about how my friends valve broke and dumped all the air and wouldn’t hold a charge….well, I admit we were a bit afraid to F with it for fear of loseing the factory warranty. I had taken the stem out and could hear something loose jingling inside the valve. Finally we said WTF lets take it apart and see. So we did and I found the bottom brass part of the valve had backed off so far that the spring wasn’t doing it’s job. I had no idea how much to screw it in so screwed it all the way in and barely made it snug. Was that right? Also I wonder how little spring pressure one could get away with?

Thanks Anthony. You made me realize I probably tightened the brass part too much. I went all the way up but just barely made it snug. I also didn’t use any lock-tite. Again thanks for your advice.
