condor vs condor ss test firing
Does anybody know of a place near northern Indiana were someone can test fire both rifles? I have the wifes permission to get one next year but I would really like to hear them side by side. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Yeah I guess that’s my biggest issue I see pyramid airs sight and they rate the standard as 5 and ss as 4. I can shoot powder burners all day anywhere I go to shoot. So my reason for wanting to hear the difference myself is because id only want the ss because it would be like OH MY GOLLY THATS QUIET. if the difference isn’t that substantial id just get the standard. Thanks for everyones help by the way.
Unless you live in an area where it’s okay to shoot rim fires ( or any other powder burner for that matter ) , you will wind up putting a shroud on a standard Condor. They are not very backyard friendly without some type of sound suppression.
If you do decide to go with a standard Condor and find that it’s too loud, you can always add an aftermarket shroud. Tony at Talon Tunes makes a great set up and Randy at R&L also carries one. I have one of Randy’s on my Talon-Dor and love it!

yeah that’s why id like to shoot em both if the difference between the standard and ss I kinda likethe looks of the standard better. but I really like the idea of a silenced gun
I love how quiet my SS is.. Until I crank it up then it sounds like a rim fire with the sonic crack!!:)
Welcome to the forum! I’m not sure of any place in your area whete you could get your hands on both of them for a sound ( decibel) comparison but I can say that the SS is going to be a lot quieter due to the shrouded barrel.

The reason it cracks when you raise the power is that it “IS” going super sonic. NO silencer can change that! 😉
