Q:

Condor vs Escape

Hi I am new the the AirForce world. I have decide to get either an Escape or a Condor in .25 cal. Just can’t make up my mind. I will be using it for hunting. I have 2 3kpsi scuba tanks that are out of cert so I either need to get them certified and buy a filling apparatus or buy a pump. Are 3k psi tanks even worth screwing with? What would you guys recommend? Is the Escape as easy to convert to other calibers as the Condor (ie are the parts the same)? Read somewhere that the Escape has a different valve than the Condor. I really like the modular idea that AirForce uses. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would use the Condor for hunting as it has a larger reservoir.

The right Escape might be more compact because of the smaller tank.

What are you going to hunt?
If you plan to be out there a hunt multiple quarries per day I would get the condor.
The escape will give you fewer shots so it might work out for hunting quarries with a low harvest limit per day.

The power ends up to be the same if the barrel is the same.
A compact escape model with a shorter barrel will give you less velocity (power).

Fit the gun to your hunting needs.

Cheers
Chris
