Q:

Condor vs Talon – what’s different?

What are the internal differences between these two guns? The Condor has a longer barrel but what other parts are different?

My primary use will be 50 yd paper punching/ target shooting. I believe that both models accuracy are “rated” at 1″ @50 yds. The Condor appears better for hunting, but for 50 yd target shooting would there be any advantage to getting the .22 cal Condor vs the Talon? What are they?

What modifications would increase the accuracy to less than 1″ @ 50 yds?

Thanks

i have a gun for sale in forsale section u an check out 😆

quote knifemaker:

Or Split the difference! I use a talon frame, 18″ barrel. with condor valve and hammer. It’s a hammer in a shorter package. 😀

I’m a Nube….

Is the Talon frame smaller than the Condor?

If not, wouldn’t it be easier to put an 18″ barrel on a condor? Is the tank on the condor larger than the tank on the Talon? Is that what you are referring to when you say smaller frame?

Thanks

Or Split the difference! I use a talon frame, 18″ bbl. with condor valve and hammer. It’s a hammer in a shorter package. 😀

WOK, I don’t care who you are, that’s just sick ritht there! 😯 😉

WOK you sick fuck!

The Condor is a monster and 50yd paper punching is the nosiest and powerful way to do it.

At 50 yds the Talon SS is a champ.

The stock condor has a Hi-flow valve and the hammer is heavier and comes with a 24 inch barrel.

The stock TalonSS has a regular tank and the hammer is lighter than a condor hammer and comes with a 12 inch barrel.

For target shooting, I would go with the TalonSS with a 18 barrel. I think there are people who will sell them like that or you can find one used.

The only Mod I would put on it is a Wokbutt and maybe a new grip. I like the Wokbutt because it helps shoulder the rifle better.

Condor has more power and uses more air. Most say that the condor has its advantages over 70 yards or so. For your purpose I think the talon would probably be better. there are many here that can answer your questions better. I have a Condor, purchased recently and love it! I wanted it for long range varmint control. I struggled with the choice between talon and condor. I went with the more is better idea! LOL
