condor with CO2 adapter 90 cu bottle 3000 psi output

Has anyone played with thus setup? I get a ton of shots off a fill and wanted to know if there are other valves I could use to make my condor shoot bigger calibers using these bottles.

My condor has never given me any problems like my other pcps. I love my new fx verminator mk2 extreme but it is very picky with pellets and leaks when the o – rings freeze in the winter. I would like to use a barrel without smooth twist but it’s compact and easy to assemble.

I would like to tweet my condor or even save up for the texan.

I am amazed that you never really hear much about modding or using the CO2 adapter for use on paintball hpa tanks with a pin valve.
I understand that there is a couple of negative reasons for this setup. One is the added length of pull to the gun as well as the scope/eye alignment sighting is uncomfortable.
I have heard that the CO2 valve within the adapter isnt compatible with the higher pressure HPA. One would likely have to check that the safety burst disk is ok with hpa pressures. Its been reported that the co2 valve will airdump when usef with hpa. It also has been reported that the valve is the same but the delrin valve pintle is larger and can be replaced with smaller delrin valve pintle. Also reported that the valve spring needs to be swaped to lighter spring pressure. Now the poster mentioned valve stem differs too.
The obvious answer to me is to simply remove the Co2 valve from the adapter and replace with standard condor or talon valve along with the burst disk too.
I have wondered many times how well this would work. Of course another issue is to locate paintball tanks that have regulators at the regulator at the correct pressure.
I wonder if there is a problem with higher pressure regulator delivering high enough VOLUME of air?

Too bad they just dont offer enough bottle choices with the correct M18-1.5 threads.

Wish I had a decent dot approved M18-1.5 carbon fiber tank 4500 psi unregulated for use with my Dyotat .257 valve.

I believe both have the Condor valve stem and delrin valve stopper but I found 2 differences.
1) the CO2 valve seat is a larger diameter. Probably to inprove flow of the fatter CO2 molecules.
2) the valve guide hole is shorter for the CO2. I figured the shorter guide could result in it being less durable for HPA as opposed to CO2.
The wider open valve seat might work in the regular AF Valve body but I choose to upgrade just the valve stem and that was adequate with the available pellets and slugs at the time. Now I’m opting for a .257 conversion with Dyotat’s new valve.

Did you plan on a direct connect of the Guppy tank or tethered like I use ❓

I had a bunch of regulators made for 2500 and 3000 PSI output specificially for Condors/Talons and put it on a 4500 PSI Carbon Fiber 114 Cu In Bottle (Guppy size). To be honest, I never had the time to chrony, determine number of shots, etc. and it finally got shelved.

I thought in addition to 3000 PSI, that the 2500 PSI would have some advantages
1) it would be in the middle of the sweet spot, hencs should have more power
2) would offer more shots over the 3000 PSI regulator (since it falls off the reg at 500 PSI later than the 3000 reg)

I always wondered how many shots a Talon or Condor would get out of that system. Also, I was wondering about the FPE. The question I had was would the Condor C02 valve be more “open” to flow, and make the gun even more powerful that if it was an HPA type valve? I’d appreciate any feed-back.
