Consistency: the PRACTICAL test…
A while ago, there was a very interesting thread here where we talked about the various ways of calculating consistency, and the (sometimes) complex math involved in this “scientific” process.

There i expressed my opinion saying that the best (and most fun) way to check out consistency, is to forget about crony numbers, all the math shit, and just take a lot of shots at the same target and check out the group.
Well, today i did exactly that with my rig, and i wanted to share the results with you guys.
This is 21 shots, using 21g kodiaks, @ 40 meters (about 44yards), using the bipod in prone position. Day was slightly windy.
As you can see, there was a single flyer wich hit a litte higher that the rest of the group.
Fill preasure was 2800psi, end preasure was little over 2300psi, wich tells me i could have gone for a 30 shot string.
Velocity was an average of 910fps
Sorry i dont have any US currency to use as visual reference, so i placed the cap of a coke bottle as reference.
This test tells me, that for AT LEAST 21 shots, @ 40 meters i can be CERTAIN that the gun is capable of hitting within one inch.
No math required. 😎
what you guys think?
i like it 🙂
