Constant speed valve
Hi all, I I am wondering if anyone has any information about a “constant speed valve” offered on Amazon for the Condor and Talon by a company called Hfire. I have been unable to find any information aside from 1 post I found here. Has anyone tried one of these? It appears as though it has a secondary air chamber which may regulate pressure from the tank. Also looks like the “top hat” has some very large passages. Sure looks nice too! Thanks for any info.

i have a speed difference of 3 or 5 m/s on 35 shoots
my power wheel is setted to 6-1
i don’t know if i have an upgraded version but sincerely i like the product for the price

I don’t have the rifle in front of me at the moment. All I did was take a Dremel and ground the threads out of the inside of the quick disconnect. I’ll snap some pictures as soon as I get the rifle back in front of me
Any pics of what needs to be done in order to allow the tank to “air up”?
I bought a Superwell constant flow valve a few months ago. I just got around to trying it out. Had some issues at first, but I’m now getting 25 shots stsrting at 2200 psi down to 1900 psi with a small curve. 25.4 JSBs, low of 948fps high of 964 fps. I did have some issues at first.
1. I couldn’t even air the tank up due to the way the fittings we’re made. They had internal threads and had a screw threaded in that wouldn’t allow air to pass. I ground the threads and added an o-ring to seal the fitting.
2. No instructions whatsoever on adjustment of the regulator. I had tightened the screws in the bottom down all the way by hand and could not get air to pass through to the valve chamber. No way to safely drain the tank. I had to loosen the gauge showing tank pressure to bleed it down. Finally was able to adjust the screw in the bottom of the valve. Unscrewed it until it felt like it wouldn’t work its way out on its own. Aired the tank back up and was showing about 2000psi on the regulated side.
It works great at a 2200 psi fill. As pressure in the tank increased the regulated pressure increased as well. Best I can tell this acts more like an air meter than a regulator. I would much rather have an Altaros or JDS reg and a good sized prechamber, but for now I can’t really complain about 25 shots with a good flat curve.

Anyway, I took the center “Z” part off and turned it into a straight valve. Did anyone ever get this thing figured out? I tried filling mine and it won’t even take any air. Is it do to the screw in the “internal” end of the foster fitting?
I too just purchased a Superwell PCP airforce condor/gunpower High pressure, Constant pressure 30 mpa Z valve from China 😕
It was specifically advertised as being for a Condor….it doesn’t fit though. The Z styling is too extreme…just as the threads engage in the gun, the reg hits the top/bottom of the frame of the gun. Has anyone else experienced this?

I don’t have a HFire, I think I may want one, I have a superwell, from wy, My 22 shoots very well on stock Condor valve, but I was looking for a hi psi reg. for a 30 cal and I guess I bought the wrong set-up
I put the thumb screw back in and now the reg seems to work, but I only get around 600fps with the 25gr. Monsters , its a shame I just shoot off the reg, like at 2000psiand get 950fps with the JSB 18.1, and powerwheel all the way up, maybe I have a different valve, mine is called a superwell, not a hy-fire. send a link on the Hy-fire.
I just went out and put the thumbwheel back in and it works if you want to shoot like 600-with the 25 monsters, I feel like I wasted my time and money, of course it shoots better off the reg
OK tore it apart, put top 1/2 in vise, top hat facing down, mark a line through both 1/2’s, loosen gauges and screw off, remember how they go back on. once apart flip bottom over and remove c clip, need a ring tool, has two small holes to compress, flip it over again and punch or tap out the stem, it has the bellevue washers on it, once out check the orings I had to replace the bigger one, then get a pick and remove the small oring, slide off the washers and keep in order 3 stacks of 4, remove 1 from the middle of each pile and put back on stem,3 stacks of 3, replace small oring, put some silicone on orings and slip the stem back into the body,put in c clip, put valve back together, screw on tight till lines match up
I was able to gain 70 fps by doing this, and I am not using the thumb screw at all, shooting 790 to 811 for 15 shots, and dropped the mpa 17 to 14, I do not know anything about regs.- if any one knows how to stack these bellevue washers for more power, please chime in. Oh and for the other tool I used big vise grips I am re editing cause my fill pressures were low and that is why it was shooting better, just fill it up to 3000 and its really slow, like 600fps, all I can say now is it works better around 2200psi, like 800fps, I think I got a piece of junk. Sorry but I tried but nothing is changing this thing.
took the thumb screw out and no change, I would dry fire then shoot one quickly and gain almost 20 fps more, don’t know if I take it apart, if there is something else, I can take out.
I was thinking about the same thing, taking the end out of it, I just kinda tired of it, maybe it would work better, something to check out though. 24 in barrel,shooting 25grn. 22.
Hi maw, what caliber and weight pellet are you shooting? I would be interested to test the new HFIRE thing with the regulating nut completely removed meaning the pressure in the main tank is the same as the intermediate tank. I know what my velocities are with my current valve and tophat. The tophat on the HFIRE setup is very different. It is at least 1mm larger I.D., the air passages are much larger, and the travel is far less. I am hoping to be able to test this valve (if I can call it that!) this weekend. I am a little concerned that it does not appear to have a “blow off” valve. As far as I know, the factory AF valve has a “blow off” (thingy on side) which limits pressure to the main tank to (3000 PSI?) If I had a carbon fiber tank with 4500PPSI and filled my Condor tank I could conceivably fill to 4500PSI because there is no “blow off” safety. I’ll post any results. This HFIRE thing is very interesting and I am happy that I am not the only one giving it a go!
Ok my evaluation is the faster I shot the faster the #’s were, the valve fills up slowly, the lower the mpa on the yellow face, reading at 17, when I filled it to about 2800, at 16 the fps went up, and when the pressure was at 1/2 full the mpa was at 11, shot 100 fps faster, I am really convince this reg only works if you shoot it slow and really in all does not work as a real reg. It is reeally more like some kind of equalizer. I got like 730 at 2800 or 17mpa, and 837 at 11 mpa pressure. Maybe if I screw the screw in a little more the mpa will go down, but it probably doesn’t even work.
