Q:

converted my 2260 pistol into custom carbine…

…I did not like the way it balanced. A 14″ barrel is a bit much especially with the 2260 tube…it feels much better as a carbine. I fabricated the custom cheek riser from a bunch of stainless and billet parts I had left over from my chopper and 56 chevy.

You can raise up the cheek weld by adding shims between the two pieces of stainless. And depending on how Fat your mellon is, you can swing the top piece to the left to make it wider. The lop is not adjustable however, although it could be done easily if one wanted to. This carbine shoots cp 14.3 at 600fps and it liks cp’s, predators, and jsb’s equally well.

That looks great.

Now go to Ace Hardware and get some stainless hex bolt to replace those slotted ones 😛

Thanks Carl! Keep trying, there are many ways to get a rise, lol.

Those sks cheek risers work nice for these stocks.

Very nice! Very, very nice indeed. I like it. Good job.

The cheek piece is pretty kool and is something I’m struggling with right now on my 2250XT.

Carl
