I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT COREYS INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR. I’M APPALLED AND THANKS FOR GETTING IN CONTACT WITH ME. COREY JUST TURNED 15 AND THINK HE KNOWS IT ALL. HE HAS MANY MANY PRODUCTIVE POSTS WITH GREAT RESPONSES FROM MEMBERS HERE AND THATS THE COREY I KNOW. HE IS REALLY INTO THIS STUFF AND IS RESPONSIBLE WITH IT.
I DON’T KNOW WHERE HE WENT WRONG WITH THE INAPPROPRIATE LANAGAUGE AND ACTIONS AND I’LL MAKE SURE IT STOPS. SORRY FOR THE HIGH TENSION LEVELS AND AGAIN THANKS FOR THE ADULTS ACTING LIKE ADULTS AND GETTING IN TOUCH. KIDS TODAY DON’T THINK AND THIS WAS DEFINETLY ONE OF THOSE TIMES.

Oh Yaeh, she bought me my 1st Condor, and then a night scope thru the military and I just got her Moms car sent out here from the east coast, shes 89 and gave up the driving part in her life, so life is so good, and I enjoy the forum and she knows that, she and I are one with the ball.

The problem isn’t necesarrily the fact that he’s acting big, it’s nothing rare for a kid to act bigger than he is. Like I’ve said, I go to high school, so I see it all the time.
The problem is the kid has airguns and other weapons. If he keeps thinking that it is ok to act big, and always get away with it, what willl mess him up is if he has one of those one day, and decides to act big against whoever. He points it at them and tells them to “do something” and they pull out a handgun and shoot him on the spot. He may have been bluffing or whatever, but these guns look real, and they can kill. I know if someone pointed one at me in a threatening manner I would do whatever I could to save my own life, even if it meant taking theirs, no time to decide if it’s a bluff or not.
So what I am saying is the kid (and any others like him) need to be set straight before something horrible happens, ranging from jail to death.
Thank you Sawtime. It is very interesting the number of teenagers actually on the TAG….Most lurk more than anything, but there are good adolescents out there, you just don’t see them as much as the loud mouths.
I myself would have to admit to using profanity on occasion here and elsewhere.
Sometimes a guy gets so bent on something that it is the only way to convey his message.
Look folks we are in for some rough times ahead of us, to be able to visit this most special group of people and speak what’s on our minds is a very special thing, at least for me.
I never realized there are younger folks here as well, and will clean my act up in the future.

The internet is the source of the overuse of profanity among minors. I am 14 and my peers use profanity akin to what Corey used in his hate filled rants (But I do not). Their parents don’t use profanity, but they see it used on the internet without temperament and therefore they become desensitized to it. After a while of seeing this, they begin to use it themselves and they post it on the internet and the cycle continues. Sad really, but it is a side effect of the information era.
Hi there Air Gun Forum. I’m Mrs. MAW. I have just one question, that is, what is the reason for all the profanity, especially from children? To me, it is unacceptable. Had I spoken that way when growing up, both my Mother and the Nuns would wrap my knuckles with a ruler, or put soap in my mouth. Children, as we all know, learn how to speak and behave to the largest extent from their parents. Not only is the use of profanity rude, crude and unattractive, it displays the real ignorance and stupidity of the speaker. That’s all I have to say on the subject. Nice. I’ve never heard a parent describe their child in terms of a balance sheet. Your excuse is totally weak, and your problem is because your son has probably never wanted for any TOY that you were happy to provide, if for no other reason than to just shut him up and get him out of your hair. I see your types daily. You took your clues about child raising from your experience with the dog you owned before you decided to have a kid.
You spawned him… I know you love him, but fix your problem. Based on his sig, he’s got at least four high-powered airguns at his disposal. If I was a cop, I’d wonder what other firearms are in the house, and whether or not this child knows how to access them.

Kudos for Corey’s dad for taking this matter up in a very responsible fashion! And cheers to the TAG forum members for research and diligence.
I’m forwarding to a few other forums to show people that engaging in “trollism” (my new word of the year) can be dealt with effectively and that “parents who care” are plentiful and in abundance.
I have two children but they are too young to type anything meaningful on the keyboard 8)

That was it… I tried to call the work number to speak with dad, but could not… and so tried home and got mom… just really hated to give such news on a Friday.
I appreciate the kind words, though. I’m no angel, we ALL know that…haha.. but in this case, I really wanted to ensure that the appropriate persons were notified. It’s common that we on the airgun forums see kids acting out… it’s not so common that we get to actually do something about it.
