Countdown from 2000
I saw this on another forum and thought it was the silliest thing ever, but it seemed strangely fun as well (kind of like being drunk, I guess). Anyway, the idea is to just count down from 2000 to 1, one post at a time. The only rule, I suppose, is no double posting.

Christopher Columbus had 3 ships The Nina, The Pinta and The Santa Maria. In 1492 the Pinta found San Salvador now known as the Bahamas. He later went to a place he called Hispaniola. The Dominican Republic and Haiti currently share this land. Columbus has claimed this land for Spain. He then arrived in Cuba after finding San Salvador. Columbus found the land that is now known as America. European’s began exploring and settling in the Western Hemisphere after Columbus’s voyage. Columbus proved to the European’s that the world was not flat.
