Cricket 25 and 22 barrel cleaning
Any one else use Dri Slide EP liquid grease?
Its a 60 % dry film molybdemum disulfide ?
After I clean my barrels I run a patch of this stuff down the barrel and let it dry over night,
This stuff will stain your fingers or anything else you get it on… My 22 cal barrels seem to go forever without needing cleaning
My 25 when ever I get around to it,,, Seems not to collect as much lead dust and cleans a lot easier ,
One 8 oz can last me years with my motorcycles and guns.

Moly tends to give mixed results. Some people swear by it, others cuss it. It does slickin up metal good, and lowers chamber pressures in powder burners. Some have complained that it’ll never come off no matter how hard you scrub.
Anyone checked to see if velocities increased or decreased with this stuff?
It said it was safe for O ring chains,
But like I say I just use a drop on a patch , The last one I pull thorough the barrel,

Mike I’m not sure what happened. After I put the stuff on a felt and worked the barrel a bit I could not get my bolt closed. I took o ring out and inspected it and found nothing wrong except small markings. When I tried to get it in I would not fit. Tried for hours but failed. I then got replacements and they were smaller and fit nicely into grove. It was a bit of a chore but gun is in working order now. I did clean gun yesterday and patches were black or dirtier. That might have something to do with the product color too.
Never hurt any of my O rings Not sure what’s in there to make the O-rings swell? Sure you did not just have a faulty O ring.

Long story short is I have not concluded anything extra ordinary that we can’t be without. All I got out of it is a swollen breach O-ring. It’s great for metal on metal parts.

Now that you got all that Dri Slide, in what do you think about it,
You did not put it on your fingers did you? That stuff is hard to get off gets into the pores of your skin and all.
Remember I told you a little goes a long way…

Sorry my brother Mike,,,that doesn’t mean we or i don’t trust your report/ post…. but usually seeing more reports will be a great encourage to push you to do what you focused on ,,, hope you understand from your brothers …

Do not let this stuff get on breach O ring. It starts swelling and you need to replace it after that happens.

Same here Eelect, a tin of 500 then clean. If you want to call it that, it’s hardly ever dirty.
The only gun I expect to see a difference is in the 25. It gets dirty pretty fast. I don’t clean my 22 till I empty a 500 tin of pellets. Both guns are a breeze to clean. 3 patches and your done. No big deal at all.

I wouldn’t say that it does increase velocity. I’m using lubed pellets to begin with so I was not expecting any increase.
