Q:

Cricket .25 Shot String

It was really windy here today, so what better way to spend Fathers Day than shooting some shot strings. I forgot to look to see what the starting pressure was, I am guess it was around 200 bar. A cloud came over and we lost our light source on the last four shots when it came off of the regulator, so I didn’t get those shots recorded. I was very impressed at the FPS spread on the shots.

I see your chronograph works with a Mac, what chronograph is it that you have? I am having a hard time finding one that works with a Mac.

It’s a Prochrono Digital chronograph and I don’t have it hooked up to my Macbook, I was just entering the numbers in the excel sheet as they were being fired.

Got a close up of the wrap job on your skeleton stock? Was it difficult?

The stock was hydrodipped in Kryptek Highlander. I don’t have any pics of it right now, but I will post one up when I get one.

That would be about right, i quess. I get 5 mags (60 shots) from mine at 275 mps before the POI starts to drop. I lowered the reg to + – 115 B and shoot the Gun from 200B downto 110B according the Gun Gauge. Mine is the new .25 WB version and the reg is set at 125B at the factory on that one.

Fantastic String!
Looks like you have 2 bars per shot down to 110 bar.
