cricket .30
Just received the cricket .30 from Ernest. Mounted new glasses on her too despite struggling with rings and mounts. Unfortunately, the sun is already dipping past the horizon but, was able to squeeze off a couple of shots! Can’t really tell too much of a difference on the sound compared to the edgun .30 but, then again I do have bad hearing. Also notice the carbon fiber moderator!!! ok, well let me try to upload some pics. thanks guys!!!

Now you’re talkin’! Sweet groups. You’ll be able to shoot and gut the rabbit with one pop! Those are tighter groups than I would have expected, given the pellets.
I have one of those “bucket seats”-those great groups will tighten up if you put a cushion under your keester!
We’ve learned the hard way, no choke is just the first part. The twist has to be right too. And the reason we have gone to TJ barrels.

So how’s the sound compare to say a .25 cricket? Or an edgun?
Looks like a cool toy…ernest is a fricken beast…everyday he has something new to showoff,or somone to bought it off him 😛
I’m going to mod a long air tube so the reg will be 3″ further in the tube to increases the air volume so I can shoot 55g WC slugs over 900fps—>well that’s the goal! this LW barrel has no choke so shooting slugs / cast bullet will be no issue.
Target was 45 yards.
Distance to target was what ?

Its not Stock—>Molested it to the max. that group looks tighter then mine at 50Y was only at 14X
Bottom right is the first target. Got two groups in. Had to adjust. Too right was second with a flyer. Then the two targets on the left were last ones with better groups. This might be sideways again.
not sure if the stock is different. I would have to ask him again. It shoots great, i absolutely love the trigger on it. Really nice and light.
I almost fell out of my chair when looking at he pictures. So how did the gun shoots? Do you know if the gun is stock or Ernest molested it already?

I’m shooting in that gazebo/trellis garden area.
These are the 45 yard zero, 10 shot group, front rest, while sitting on a bucket.

It still looks like a 30 cal Cricket may be a viable proposition for an entrepreneur and skilled gunsmith. 😀 If it can be made as quiet as my 30 cal Standard R3 Edgun it will be hit IMO. 😉 Of course then there is KalibrGun.
