I tried to contact these people a couple of times.
The response I got was that any “difficulties” in shipping, customs, loss, receipt, were the total responsibility of the buyer.
In other words, send them your $$ and forget about it. By the way, you can expect to pay as much as 30% to 50% more there. I know of no one who has a Cricket air rifle, and I’ve looked long and hard on all the forums I have visited.
The only way to get a Cricket is to visit Russia and buy one, and bring it home. That is not as expensive as you think. There are many “Russian Brides” sites that have scheduled trips, some quite reasonably priced. If you have a few extra bucks, go there, date a fat chick, pick up a Cricket, as well as a few “undetermined urinary tract infections” as we used to say back in the mid ’60’s S.E. Asia, and come on home with some over the counter penicillin, and you are good to go.
I don’t believe U.S. Customs will give you any grief. Check first before going, so you can have any necessary permits.
Or….Ed is coming out with a multi-shot Matador, probably in the next year, and he stands behind his work. I’ve owned two of his Matadors and I assure you they are hand finished quality, with no plastic, stamped, or cheap parts used.
Good luck. Let us know if you make the trip.
