Q:

Cricket Bullpup and Cricket Rifle – anyone has tried both?

Pros and Cons on both Cricket machines in terms of accuracy and shot count?

If only the stock is different, then I guess, both must be just about the same. Then, we could say that it would just be a matter of personal preference. May I hear from those with real world experience on both?

Thanks.

I ordered one today. I had won a contest and instead of a Webley Raider I chose a gift cert for the value of the Webley. Decided to put that towards a KCC (Kalibrgun Cricket Carbine). Got it chambered in .22 . I will post some info after getting it, I also have the skeleton stock bullpup so I will let you know what I thing between the two.

Ernest I am interested on how you mod the trigger.

I have one converted to a .25 cal carbine rifle.

1. Has compact length air tube 18.5″
2, 23″ .25 cal CZ barrel free floating barrel
3. 38.5″ OAL with no LDC, with 7″ LDC 45″ long. barrel and air tube are to close together that prevent a shroud installation.
4. has safty
5. tiger has no 1st stage travel adjustment , or 2nd stage brake, but easy to mod. overall great trigger.
45 shots at 43 fpe from a 230B fill, reg set at 120B

I´ve talked to a Finnish guy who has the “Carbine” and the Cricket in .22. For shear BR / target shooting the “rifle” is better – he says. For all-round purpose and hunting it´s Bullpup for him all the way.

I imagine the trigger doesn’t have linkage and likely better.
Price isn’t bad if it is more or less just a cricket with a different stock.
Looking forward to see how they prove out.

The Cricket rifle has a safety I believe…

From what I have read the rifle is a performer too. 😉

Not too many people have the Cricket Rifle. Only person I know that had it is KevinBrian over in the Yellow. He recently sold it though. But he had the rifle in .22 and Bullpup in .25
