Q:

Cricket Exploded view with magazines

I am looking for a large exploded view of a Cricket bull pup. I found the one for the skeleton stock but not one with the cricket with the magazine holder.Anyone seen one?

Yes I put a small amount of silicone grease inside mag holder and they slid in very nicely, can’t get them to fall out, you have to push them from backside and they slid out.

Hoot: take the two O-rings off of mags and replace them with one 2.5mm x 27mm and they stay nice and snug in mag holders.

I replaced the orings but it didnt work for me.the magazine cant get in the holder
Are u sure of the oring size

I found some very tiny magnets on Ebay that I was going to replace the OEM magnets with. The fault I found with the mag holders was their tendency to pop open on their own, and away went the magazines. The gun was so long, and heavy, that I sold it shortly after I purchased it. At that time there were no wooden stocks available for the .25 caliber, which I found to be an extremely powerful gun.

Currently, I have the skeleton stock in a .22 caliber. I can squeeze 35 fpe out of it, and Ernest has given me some hints to get to 40 fpe with some minor mods to the transfer port and air flow path. Using 21gr pellets I can get within 10 fpe of the .25 caliber. Given the length and weight penalty of the .25, I find the .22 delightful to carry, and possessing enough power to dispatch the critters I come across out here in the mountains. I will admit it takes two shots for a black bear…one in each eye, vs, one 31gr Barracuda in one eye with the .25 caliber. I certainly don’t recommend this to the other forum members, as it’s alarming how efficiently a 250lb black bear can rip you a new ass without any need to look during the process! I found that even if you can stifle your screams, while running away, a black bear has very a sensitive sense of smell, and can easily outrun you with it’s eyes closed. I know for a fact that this is not true of raccoon and possum. My considered advice is to leave pcp bear hunting to the professionals!

Just my thoughts on the matter.

Thank You sir. That was helpful and will get me to where I need to be. Be safe!!

If you separate the stock from the rest of the gun you’ll be able to see a couple of screws holding the mag holder

Because my esteemed friend, I am specifically looking for how to remove the entire magazine holder to see what kind of damage I can do to a wooden stock 😉

Pardon me for asking….but why do you need an exploded view of the same gun with a different stock? Both are attached with one screw, and the gun remains unchanged.

Personally, I didn’t like the magazine holder feature. They tended to open at awkward times and the magazines loved to roll away….far far away! One made it to Cincinnati and caught a Greyhound bus before I could catch up with it. Now I just put them in my pocket and that works fine.
