Q:

Cricket from Poland.

Hello Everyone

This is my first post on this fine airgun forum.Ive had my .22 standart Cricket for over a month now and I LOVE it.
It was made in october 2015.The stock is held by two bolts.

Just a plain plastic Cricket, nothing fancy,

After dressing it with some camo tape.

The gun performs flawlessly, even though Im not that good of a shooter.
This is 50 meters using jsb 18 gr. Velocity is 270 m/s

The coin is 15 milimeters in diameter.
notice three shots to the left. I started at 230 bar. Then i shot 3 more with 130-140 bar in the tank.

So there is no POI change with regard to pressure change in the tank.

Considering that there was absolutely no wind few days back I tried my shooting skills at 100 meters.
the coin is 20 mm in diameter.I was using DOT 6-24. Magnification x 10.

Like i said i love my Cricket. Its so compact and well balanced.Perfect hunting gun.Unfortunately In my super cool country I cant hunt with airguns or even do pest control.Yea, magpies and crows are protected here  . But it doesnt stop me from doing it :4: ,

Oh, and before Cricket I was using this cool bullpup i made myself

😀

Your Gamo taping is mediculously well done ! Do you hunt Painters or other Contractors ??

I must have put some 40,000+ pellets though my Cricket 22, it’s a real glutton for punishment.
Play-in/break-in after some 4,000 pellets.
Keep the rear bag solid, nice shooting buy the way Ascarissuis !!

Like Jan said, used with Ballistol PatchWorm it’s the best !

I dont use rear bag when shooting, just traditional butt to shoulder. This way I test myself and the gun and the same time.I know that with a professional benchrest stand and indoors, groups would be tighter.
After 4000 pellets, You say…We will see

I did not believe to PatchWorm but it does the great job 🙂 Ville and Greg recommend it to me too 🙂

Try PatchWorm you will be surprised how dirty barrel could be :smilen:

ascarissuis after how many pellets are cleaning cricket barrel ? nice shooting 🙂

I try to clean in after 1 small tin of heavies :)But nothing special, just 2-3 cotton patches made from t shirt, soaked with wd 40.
Hav not tried to enlarge the TP yet

Hmm, the more I shoot my cricket the more i love it.
GKU is right . They get better with age…

I put a coat on while watching…………

Another day of cricket fun.
Weather-what every airgunner likes-cold and windy.

Distance is 52 meters.

Scope
I’m using is Delta optical titanium 6-24

Fu***g cold weather 🙄 I said it many times…the best weather for shooting :5: all the year has Greg

Looks cold there also. This is the time I shoot out my kitchen window.

I have had it too on my springer HW77k in 5years ago. Good scope. If parallax to be on side it would be decent, light scope for cricket.

Looking good, I have the same scope, how do you like it?

Nice result indeed. :smilen:
