Q:

Cricket indexing problems…….

This was posted on YouTube on Jan 2nd and reveals the complexity of the Cricket indexing system. Apparently the poster has problems with his Cricket as the mag does not rotate the way it should….

I hope I shall never have to dismantle this part of my Cricket, – it looks scary….:

I have spent my life in the mechanical world of airplanes, guns amd race cars and most (I mean a very large per centage) of mechanical problems come from the idiots working or using the mechanical device that seems to be broken to them 😳 😳 👿 A lot of people can fuck up an anvil if left alone…… 😯

It’s these folks that yell the loudest about any little problem that comes up and want to throw the blame on someone or something other than admitting they did not know what they were doing… 👿

Hey octavius is that two Edguns you are holding ❓ 🙄 😀

Bravo! Or as I like to say it, there are some people who can screw-up free lunch. 😀

I know about two guys from Czech they have problem with the cricket magazine 🙁 Seems the quality is poor 😳

This guy is an idiot
He does not reload the action but tries to move the mag forward by moving the mechanism repeatedly, the action has to be reloaded for the mag index to move forward.
I have 2 x Crickets, not one has ever failed and both have shot count of about 4000

Always do . Watched the Edgun develop before acquiring one. I’ll let others do beta testing on unknown products before I plop down my $$$$.
Hopefully these are isolated instances.

Hey Demp223 enjoy the pop corn 😀

Zocoloco good to see you are still lurking while working on the house 😯

Only shot 5 to 600 rounds through mine and not a hitch. You do have to have the magazine release know/handle in the correct position for all to work correctly. Had trouble to start with the rifle NOT indexing but I 😳 had the knob in the WRONG location where it only will shoot single shot. Not a problem with the rifle only the operator 😳 😎

Time will tell….but happy now 😀 🙂 😀

Not surprising based on your initial inspection photo of internals. More time and use will reveal any durability issues of design and materials used.
Ill be observing

– and here’s another one:

This one is from the Russian production…..

Will be interesting to see if any others will experience the same problems…

😀
