Cricket Not Filling With Air

The rifle filled fine and just needed to take its time! Never noticed it before but some reason she likes it slow! 😉

Unscrew the fill/gauge cap, look inside that screw on the air tube side you will see the hex head counter sunk screw

If you want to increase the fill rate on a cricket is to file down one side of the threads, like in the photo, that’s how Edgun does it and they use the same screw with oring fill/check valve. this screw is screwed down all the way then back out one turn, if tighten down vary tight the thread will create a seal and vary little air or none will enter the tube.

Its about 2 months and quite familiar with this rifle and other PCPs.
I will try filling it slow but honestly never experienced this before with the rifle.

The Cricket fills slowly by design.

Try this, insert the fill probe, open your fill valve. Then go get yourself a soft drink.

If there’s no mechanical flaw, the gun will be full when you come back in about five minutes.

That was my experience, more or less.
