Q:

Cricket pressure gauge reading: need help cricket owners

Hi,

I used my carbon fiber tank’s gauge to determine my cricket’s pressure readings at the border of the green/ yellow line. I got 250 bars. What are you getting?

Thanks

I’m getting 886-887 for peak and a low of 880 with 15.9s in mine, with a 220 bar fill. I’m thinking of maybe lightly lowering speed to 870. I’m sticking with the JSB Jumbo 15.9s 😉 I have noticed in pics of other Cricket gauges that the length of the green zone is shorter on some, mine has the longer green area. My green zone goes from just on the reg to 300 bar.

Forgot to mention. The comparison is based on the assumption that the cricket and edgun gauges are the same except for the faces.
I’m getting 895 fps with jsb 15.9s from the “green”. I hope to run a shot string soon.

Thanks Rear.

I think I made have answered my own question. I cut a piece of paper the same size as the diameter of my edgun gauge and superimposed the bar readings onto the paper disc. I then placed the disc over the cricket gauge and aligned the “0”bar and “300” bar marks on both gauges. The green and yellow border is at 250 bar. That corresponds to the pressure reading from my cf tank.

300 bar on mine, 220 is a 1/8″ past the center of the gauge.
