Cricket quick cocking!
Shooting my Cricket tonight and doing a bit of toning it down a tad to shoot around 890 or there abouts, then it decided to quite cocking. I had thought about doing a bit of adjusting on it after I got it because the trigger was very light, to light but I decided to keep shooting it to get it broke in. So seeing as how it quit cocking I went to the post that Hoot pointed out to another poster here a while back, had pictures of where to adjust it. Got to looking at it before I did anything and the sear was not engaging, it was trying but it was set out to far when cocked. So I ended up taking of the turnbuckle pin and turned it out a full turn and this gave me good engament on the sear. Actually kind of an interesting set up and well thought out. Didn’t do much to the second stage adjustment it was still good, I never really had much of any first stage but after turning out the turnbuckle a full turn I do now, just about where I wanted it to be. So I just thought I would post this for anyone that looses there abiltiy to cock there Cricket, sounds a bit sleasy but who really cares!! So far I am enjoying my Cricket and just learned how to adjust the trigger, so this is a good thing. And yes it is shooting around 885 for an average of 60 shots at a 200 bar fill so all is good for me, 22 cal syn stock Reg length can’t beat the accuracy at 50 yds it is normal for me to be under dime size most all the time, unless I open my eyes then I miss! Dam flyers!! :3: One thing to add before closing, there are two really small shims they look like to me some small piecies of round plexiglass drilled out that fit on both sides of the linkage adjustment, they did a fine job on this but I hope you have better eyes than I do! the pin you take out to turn the adjustmen buckle has to line up with the pin when you install the turn buckle back in, so basically you have three peices to line up while driving this pin back home, I have enough fingers but they are to big LOL!! this was a bit of a tedious task for me and if you need to do this for more engagment on the sear you should not have to get into this part again!
