If there was a way to get there without getting my rifles confiscated at the airport id be there for a weekend of shooting.

I am pretty close to the geographical center of the contiguous United States. 🙂

It would be nice to set a date and a place somewhere in the middle of all of us to get together and have a shooting outing…is love to just bullshit and shoot some targets/ mini tournament between us.

I couldn’t imagine the fun and adventure we would have. But that would be a tall order

Looks Good! 😉

Are you aware that you don’t have to figure incline for ranging. Only distance to base or what would be the level you are standing on when shooting. 😉

Knife

Yes knife I know now. Wish this would have come up before I got new range finder. Mind you this one is very very nice.

Good to know. All I have at my disposal is corn. I’m not sure how that works. There is enough feed laying around they actually get. It will be interesting for see how it works

I save any old bread, crackers or what ever. When I get to the cattle or pig barn I’ll throw out handfuls of bread then go back and sit in truck and wait for them to come to me.

I love that stuff. Especially the smell. 😛

This stuff makes it nicer than new after a day like this.
I put a bit on a rag and wipe down gun with it. It work great

eelect, looks like you found yourself a cattle barn to shoot at. I was down to the one where I shoot Wed and shot over 70 starlings and sparrows. They have over 1200 head of cattle and I have never seen so many birds in one place. 😀

Those buggers already know my truck and I have only one crack at one then they are gone. If they see my truck they don’t land. There are so many buildings in the way and so many evergreens to to hide it makes it tough getting more than 3-5 a day. They are in the roof of the silos and what I end up doing is sitting down and guard the hole they get in and out of. But that’s very challenging too as they land and next thing they are in the hole. But it’s still fun.
