Q:

Cricket Reg Fixed

Ok,

My brand new Cricket came in today shooting 18.1 JSBs 300 FPS right out of the box. I found a post over on the yellow on how to adjust the reg and tried to adjust the reg accordingly. No Luck, so I took the snap ring out and carefully removed the spring stack. All the bellvue springs were installed wrong. ))))))) instead of ()()()()()() so I have been playing with the stack and still connot get the right pressure/fps . highest is 530 fps, and that is with a spring left out of the stack.

Does anyone happen to know the correct amount of springs and stacking order? I’ve searched all over and cant find any diagrams or videos.

This is very frustrating, HELP

Send it back and have the seller fix or replace it. Why stress yourself out.

Good idea. I’d do that before you end up with some other issues.

I highly doubt the Belleville springs are to be stacked as you say. Most likely they are to be doubled as in pairs, two at a time.

If you can’t get higher than 500 fps with the spring gone, I think you should look somewhere else. Check the transfer port and make sure that there is nothing blocking it, it is also a good idea to measure its diameter and make sure it is the right diameter. I have no idea what diameter it should be but I think some of the folks here could help.
